Pain stops your clients dead in their tracks

In this course you’ll learn the root causes of musculoskeletal pain along with specific exercises that can make the difference between keeping clients long-term and an endless stream of referrals to spending more time chasing new clients instead of doing the work you love.

For trainers, coaches and movement instructors

Understand what really causes pain and how to help your clients overcome and avoid the typical nagging issues that keep people on the sidelines.

For therapists and rehab professionals

Separate yourself by teaching clients and patients proven, time-efficient and unique exercises that go beyond what they’ll learn from ChatGPT.

Get your clients whole again with the 4 Pillars to Pain-Free Movement

When one of these pillars is lacking, something in the shoulder will end up absorbing more force than it should — it could be a rotator cuff or biceps tendon, labrum or bursa. Over time this tissue will get damaged and painful. This often starts as a minor pain that you can “work through”, but when left unaddressed progresses to intense, debilitating pain that can eventually lead to serious damage and injury.

Illustration: a 3D table with three intact legs and one cracked leg. The cracked leg makes the table tip, like a system with one weak pillar. The legs are labeled tissue quality, alignment, activation and active range of motion.AlignmentActive ROMActivationTissue quality
Lose one pillar and the whole system tips.

Tissue quality

Pliable tissue that glides and tolerates load instead of guarding.

Alignment

Joints positioned and tracking so force is shared, not dumped on one structure.

Activation

Muscles that switch on when they’re needed, not inactive or weak.

Active ROM

Range of motion your client owns and controls, not just range they can be pushed into.

Can’t wait to meet you!— Coach E

I’m Eric Wong aka “Coach E”, a kinesiologist and the founder of Precision Movement. I’ve been publishing content online since 2008, growing my following to over 790,000 subscribers on YouTube, focusing on simplifying the science behind moving freely and without pain.

I started as a strength and conditioning coach to professional fighters including UFC fighters Jeff Joslin and Claude Patrick and many other pros and amateurs. I quickly understood that my job was as much performance improvement as it was keeping my athletes healthy and started implementing methods to keep my athletes on the mats.

At 14 I had a back surgery that came with serious complications and years of dealing with compensations and restrictions until I learned what it really took to get out of pain.

It’s these personal and professional experiences combined with feedback from tens of thousands of people from around the world spanning over two decades that’s resulted in the refined Precision Movement approach you’re about to learn in this course.

I can’t wait to guide you to deeper knowledge, better client results and a more fulfilling and financially rewarding career in this field we both love.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be licensed or have experience?

No. There are no prerequisites. The course is designed for fitness professionals, movement instructors, therapists, rehab professionals and doctors, and anyone can enroll for their own education.

Will this fit within my scope of practice?

Certification doesn’t change your scope of practice. You remain responsible for working within your own licence, insurance and local regulations.

If you’re not licensed to treat pain, we suggest not marketing yourself as a pain treatment provider. Instead, use the four pillars to improve how your clients move, which often helps pain as well. Licensed professionals can apply the approach within their own scope.

Is the course approved for CEUs?

Coming soon! We’ll be working with our initial students to determine what organizations to obtain the license for CEUs with.

How does certification work?

You’ll complete a quiz each week and a final exam. Pass the exam and you earn the Certified Precision Movement Coach – Level 1 designation.

When does the course start, and how much time does it take?

The course starts Friday, October 16, 2026. Plan on about 2 hours per week. Weekly modules are released on Fridays, and live Q&As take place every Wednesday for 8 weeks at 1pm Eastern time inside the course portal.

What if I can’t attend a live Q&A?

Replays of the live Q&A are available, and you can submit your questions beforehand.

Is there a refund policy?

This course doesn’t come with a money-back guarantee, so please review the curriculum and email us with any questions before you enroll.
